There could be several things that come to mind when you think of getting the runaround in Nashville, whether it be politics, the transit system, progress on new developments, and so on. One thing is for sure, Nashville certainly doesn’t give us the “runaround” on our greenways; well not metaphorically anyway.
According to The Nashville Parks & Recreation department, there are 108 Parks and 19 Greenways to runaround on in Nashville. If you are a cardio junkie moving to the area or just looking for a fun group to run with, check out this quick list of 3 popular Parks/ Greenways and some of the few local running groups you can join in on. If you are new to Nashville, and new to running, be sure to ask an experienced runner or professional about the experience level(s) of each run before attempting, as well as suggested gear. Maybe it’s been a minute since your last venture and you need some new kicks before pursuing one of Nashville’s many 5ks, Half Marathons and Marathons. No matter your experience level, be sure to visit one of the Nashville Fleet Feet locations for more information on finding the best run and the best gear that best fits your needs.
